Gangnam style

I'm not actually sure if i keep playing gangnam style because it's popular and that i'm trying to promote it and get more views. Is it the fact that i've seen it on the news so i've played it for longer. All i'm thinking, if it wasn't an internet sensation would i still be listening to the song. Sure it's a good song but i would actually keep listening to it if it wasn't popular.

People and Friends

I have a friend in college and he doesn't really know why people chose apple products and he doesn't get why there's fanboy's over technology. He says it's Petie and pathetic that people fight over which one is better. He has actually no idea what he's talking about and i just shot him down straight away because first of all, he doesn't have the knowledge, he doesn't know what the galaxy S3 is and all he cares about is mainstream products. Tells us to watch programs that are crap and have been known to destroy brain cells. Even though he knows he's wrong, he still fights and i just keep shooting him down and it's rather funny. he doesn't get why there's a tablet market, when you could just your phone or laptop. in a way he's right but think of how many times you've forgot to check out something or you just want a quick search, you don't want to wait for your laptop to boot up so instead you press the power button on your tablet and search away.

Sorry if this is a stab at him but it's just generally everybody, if you don't know something, don't argue about it when you obviously will lose

X ray Goggles

X ray goggles

I was talking about this to my friend the other day. he was saying that he knows someone in china that has x ray goggles that can see through clothes, No not skin just clothes.

I made this argument and i thought it would be great for random thoughts. If people were able to have x ray goggles all the time and see people's bits, at first there would be a lot of surprises in people's pants but after a while, there would be. to see what your crushes bits look like, just put on the x ray goggles and you might not find them attractive anymore. i don't think there would be a lot of hype around seeing people naked anymore, you'd just see what you already saw in the first place but at this time, you wouldn't need the glasses and all the excitement would just be lost if we did all posses x ray goggles.

It might be a weird blog but that's just what goes through my head.

Walking to the beat of music

Just another random thought to add to the memories.

Something that i've noticed for years but i wasn't really sure if anyone would understand but when you're walking to any destination and you're listening to music do you ever have the feeling that you're walking normally or walking to the beat of the song?

That's what i feel like, usually the song has a beat and whatever that beat is, usually determines the speed of my walk. One soundtrack i've been recently getting into is the TRON Legacy soundtrack and i would really like to do a review on the film. I saw this film about a year ago but i never took any notice but then i decided to watch it the second time and the soundtrack, the ambience, the environments that the music is set in is just phenomal and it's a feature that lots of films don't achieve.

Do you ever walk to the beat of the music? Do you ever think that the speed of your walk changes on the tempo of the music?

License plate game

I walk a lot, to and from college, and anywhere really. I just walk and it's good when you've got music in your ears but after months and months of walking the same route, i can basically do it blindfolded and i would if it wasn't for the cars being on the road. Well i came up with this game, it only tests my mind to see if it's still working and try to keep my mental health up. I look at a license plate for about 2 or 3 seconds and i look away and i try to work out the exact license plate it was. When i first started doing it, i was crap and was remembering one half of the licence plate and not the other half. well now i've gotten a lot better and i can remember 2 or 3 license plates all in order. I've been doing for about 2 months now and it really works keeping your mental health up. So next time you're walking somewhere try to remember the license plate

Being watched

Do you ever think you're being watched?

i'm not talking about a stalker walking home at night, no i'm talking about your life is being watched by millions of people just like the truman show. I seem to do things and then a couple of days later they're doing it as well. Just a general thought i had. I used to think like that even before i saw the truman show. it's probably due to my up bringing and stuff.

Liverpool

I went to liverpool for the first time ever on thursday and i was actually surprised. i went to liverpool expecting just to see the beatles memoribilla and the titanic but as me and my gran and cousin were walking round. There's actually plenty PLENTY of history that's happened in liverpool and i mean there was a lot of stuff that happened there.

I was so surprised. It was a really good day out, saw a lot of stuff and as we were in the muesum, BBC radio Lanchashire were doing live interviews and there were looking beyond the liverpool skyline.

Eye technology

A lot of pondering questions have been going through my mind a lot this week since my mum and dad were hardly making any conversation so I thought ask them a pondering question that would require no answer, it was just generally a pondering question.

With technology getting better and better  you'd think they invent a way of using a camera lens and replacing the human eye, now I'm sure it's doable since you can already do eye transplant, I'm sure they can invent a way of connecting the camera up to your brain and letting your brain doing all the work. Virtually the eye is useless without it's connection to the brain. Once them wires are gone, the eye is dead. (and if you like technology, you should read my other blog, technology and everything in between)  this blog might seem useless but hey this blog is called random thoughts

Neat feature in photoshop

I was using photoshop the other day editing some pictures for this fad that's caught on.

My friend luke went on holiday with my mate leonard and leonard took a picture of luke in-mid stride and I cut luke out and pasted it into other pictures and scenerio's. I uploaded a picture onto facebook and then other people wanted to so I uploaded the template and it enabled people to make their own versions and what people created were outstanding in terms of humour it was brilliant.

Well I was making an image of luke strutting and I pasted it onto a black and white image and the layer automattically converted itself to black and white. To me this was really smart thinking from adobe with their new edition of photoshop. Just a random thought that I had. This is only one little feature that i'd like to share with the world.

Dubstep

Honestly i think song of today are crap, everything is either a remix... not a dubstep remix, dubstep is still in it's form of mainstreamness. there was a song called good felling my flo rida and i'm being honest here, there was an other song callelevels by avissii and they both had the same tune, same lyrics but with a different beat and they were both in the top 10...how can you explain this

i'm not a big fan of dubstep, sure i listen to it and it sometimes makes it easier to work from  but most of dubstep is just copy ad paste copy and paste. Some song are like this, there's one terrible song from skrillex it's called died this way AND WHEN IT HITS  1 MINUTE 6 SECONDS MARK, THE SONG GOES FROM OK TO TERRIBLE .

Popular songs

Whenever a song comes out and hits the top 40 usually the band or artist releases an album with the other songs they've composed, performed and then published. If you've downloaded the album and you've found that the songs on the album are better than the song that's currently in the top 40. And what's always got me is that if the songs in the album are so much better than the other one, why isn't the better songs in the top 40 and why are they usually the rejects.

A few years ago when I was getting into music and buying an mp3 player on an ipod, when I used to download song I only downloaded that song that was in the top 40 and basing it on the community of the music industry, but there was one day when I decided to download the full album because at the time it was the middle of summer and I had the money to buy the full album so I thought why not. The songs that I discovered were way better than the ones that were popular, and I think this is the main reason why the better songs aren't there because people are only interested into that popular song and they don't venture out to areas.

Another reason why they aren't popular just like the rest is because the artist decides which songs he wants to release based on fan feedback and on that fan feedback, they create a music video to match the song and then that song that you found amazing before any one else has no become popular so it works like that.

Just random thoughts

I'd like to start a new blog about random thoughts that I have during the day.

One of the theorys i've had for a couple of years now is that. Have you ever looked around at older people and thought they could be you from the future sent back through time just to see how you're doing.

I've seen ederly that could potenially be me from the future. See the people sent from the future can't interact with me because it would break the time-space contiumm. It's just one of the random thoughts that are going through my head.

De ja vu

For the past couple of months, i've been large amounts of de ja vu espically when i'm talking to my family. I'm talking about a subject in a space where the exist in unicen. It's like i've had a dream about that conversation in that area and it's starting to freak me out because even in those situations i'm thinking to myself 'this is a de ja vu moment' and I actually say it out loud and the person that i'm talking to has no recollection of us talking about that subject.

When i'm walking to college there's always a car that drives past me, it has no connection at all, it isn't my sisters or any of my relatives but I see it everywhere and the only reason I recognise it is because of the license plate and at the back of the car it has a 'my other car is a porche' sticker.

I'm just getting loads of de ja vy moments and it's like i've dreamt these moments before. I'm not saying i'm physic, it's just that i'm dreaming of events that haven't happened.

I love my weekly routine, go out on the weekend with my mates either round town or a party. I've not spent a saturday night in for ages, must be like 3 months now.
